Giancarlo Galeone

Chairman

Chairman of FARO Value, with over 30 years of experience as CEO and Board Member in leading companies such as Ferretti Group, Sunseeker International and Alberta Ferretti.

He led more than five M&A transactions for the development of the Ferretti Group’s brand portfolio. Founder of Anvera, he is also a Partner at Orienta Capital Partners, where he has contributed to over ten transactions involving Italian SMEs, including the acquisition of Sunseeker together with FARO. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Bologna.

Augusto Balestra
Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer of FARO Value, leading the platform’s strategic and operational vision. Over 15 years of experience as CEO, General Manager and Board Member in international companies across the industrial, luxury and sports sectors.

More than 10 years of experience in private equity with over 20 transactions involving Italian and European SMEs. Former Investor Relations Director of Ferretti Group, where he oversaw the company’s listing on Borsa Italiana. Co-founder of Orienta Capital Partners, he has completed 25 transactions and 5 exits with returns >7x MoM and IRR >70%. He holds a degree in Economics and an MBA from Bologna Business School.

Monica Magrassi
Chief Operating Officer

COO and Board Member of FARO Value, with over 20 years of experience in private equity and alternative asset management.

She served as CEO of Clessidra Holding S.p.A., the holding company of the Clessidra Financial Group, until 2023, as well as Head of Operations of Clessidra Private Equity SGR and Clessidra Capital Credit SGR. She joined Clessidra SGR in 2003, contributing to the launch and start-up phase of both the management company and its first fund. She has held governance roles in numerous portfolio companies and has served as a Board Member of AIFI.

Roberto Del Giudice
Head of Investor Relations and ESG strategy

Head of Investor Relations and ESG strategy, Roberto joined FARO Value in June 2025.

With approximately 30 years of experience in private capital, he previously served as Senior Partner at Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR and as Italy Partner at IRoise Partners.

He previously worked at AIFI as Head of the Research Office, contributing to the development of industry analysis. He is also an Adjunct Professor at LIUC – Università Cattaneo, where he teaches subjects related to corporate finance.

Giacomo Rossi
Investor Relations Manager

Investor Relations Manager at FARO Value, responsible for relationships with institutional and private investors, strategic positioning and communication.

He has over 10 years of international experience (Frost & Sullivan, FCA Group, Italian Trade Commission), with expertise in strategy and M&A across the automotive, luxury, food and infrastructure sectors.

He participated in BCG’s “The Future Makers” program. He holds a degree in Business Administration and completed advanced training in General Management at Harvard Business School.

Giulia Monaco
Fund Manager

Fund Manager at FARO Value, coordinating operational activities and contributing to the continuous improvement of management and strategic processes.

She has over 8 years of experience at Orienta Capital Partners as a financial analyst, following earlier roles in management control at Federcoop and Deco Industrie.

She graduated with honours in Economics from the University of Bologna and supports and leads the team with strong analytical discipline, contributing to decision-making processes and the internal organization of the platform.

Simone Manini
HR Manager

HR Manager at FARO Value, with over 20 years of experience in human resources management. He has held senior HR roles at Ducati, Rosetti Marino, Fores Engineering and Orienta Capital Partners, managing personnel in complex corporate environments, both in Italy and internationally.

Expert in recruitment, training, development and compensation & benefits. He holds a degree in Work Psychology and an Executive MBA from Bologna Business School. At FARO, he leads talent development initiatives and supports portfolio companies on HR-related matters.

Francesco Bellarmino
Fund & Investor Relations Specialist

Fund & Investor Relations Specialist at FARO Value since 2024, supporting fund and portfolio management activities as well as investor relations. He has five years of experience in the banking sector and has collaborated with innovative companies and startups as an AI & Business Analyst.

He holds a degree in Financial Markets and Institutions from the University of Bologna, a Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Law, and participated in the McKinsey Academy. Associate member of AIFIRM – the Italian Association of Financial Risk Managers.
